Point System
Our scoring system rewards players based on their real-life performance. Here’s how points are calculated:
Offensive Stats
- Points 1 point
- 3-Point Made 0.5 points
- Assists 1.5 points
- Rebounds 1.2 points
- Double-Double 3 points
- Triple-Double 8 points
Defensive Stats
- Steals 2 points
- Blocks 2 points
- Turnovers -1 point
- Technical Foul -1 point
- Ejection -3 points
Bonus Points
Game-winning shots earn an additional 5 points. Players who score 40+ points in a game earn 3 bonus points.

Detailed Scoring Breakdown
Points Calculation
Each point scored by a player is worth 1 fantasy point. Three-pointers provide additional value with an extra 0.5 points on top of the 3 points for scoring, making them worth 3.5 fantasy points total.
Example:
A player scoring 20 points with four 3-pointers would earn:
- 20 points = 20 fantasy points
- 4 three-pointers = 2 fantasy points (4 × 0.5)
- Total = 22 fantasy points
Special Achievements
Double-doubles and triple-doubles are rewarded with bonus points to acknowledge exceptional all-around performance. A double-double occurs when a player records double digits in two statistical categories.
Example:
A player with 15 points, 12 rebounds, and 8 assists would earn:
- Base stats = 15 + (12 × 1.2) + (8 × 1.5) = 15 + 14.4 + 12 = 41.4 points
- Double-double bonus = 3 points
- Total = 44.4 fantasy points
Negative Points
Turnovers, technical fouls, and ejections result in negative points. This encourages selecting efficient players who maintain their composure during games.
Impact Example:
A player who scores 18 points but has 5 turnovers would have their score reduced by 5 points, resulting in 13 fantasy points.
Game Impact Bonuses
Game-winning shots and exceptional scoring performances are rewarded with bonus points to capture the dramatic and rare moments that can decide NBA games.
Example:
A player who hits a buzzer-beater to win the game would receive an additional 5 fantasy points on top of their regular scoring.
